This is my mother-in-law, we had to go to Oregon again her husband is sick, she was so happy to see us, she is 89, he is 95. I don't like the trips but to look at this picture I guess I should be blessed that we are able to go up and help her he doesn't have much longer, hospice comes and helps but it would have been easier if they would have stayed here if you recall a blog in November when I blogged about moving them down but they wanted to go back.
I ran into a stranger as he passed by, 'Oh excuse me please' was my reply. He said, 'Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you.' We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye. But at home a different story is told, how we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, my son stood beside me very still.
A writer I am not, but this is a bad day. As I was eating a bowl of go lean crunch cereal this morning I crunched a tooth half off, so I was at the dreaded dentist at 9 a.m. only to find out I have to go back at 3 p.m. to get preparation for a 900.00 crown. No picture today just tears and to say I will never eat go lean crunch cereal again although the tooth may have broke on anything I was eating at the time. Hope all of you are having a better day then me.
